Learn about our desire to save children from heart defects
On February 7, 2008 we experienced the worst loss of our lives when our 17-year son Clinton Ron Walker, died due to an undetected congenital heart defect. Out of this pain our family decided to develop a scholarship fund in his memory and to educate people especially the youth about the importance of testing their hearts thoroughly for any defects especially if they are involved in sports.
The Clinton Ron Walker Foundation was created to honor and remember him in a way that continues his legacy of service. With your contributions deserving Georgia students can receive scholarships that help them continue on with their college education. We also offer AEDs, CPR Training and Heart Screenings to youth all across GA and Indiana. All of your donations are tax deductible as The Clinton Ron Walker Foundation is a non-profit 501c 3 organization.
Students can apply for The Clinton Ron Walker Scholarship by writing an essay or a poem on friendship that is 150 words or less and filling out the application.
The Clinton Ron Walker Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to provide education and free heart screenings for youth in the Georgia area. Our Youth 4 Healthy Hearts events educate youth on how to keep their hearts healthy. We also provide scholarships to deserving students in Georgia.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and educate youth on heart defects. Your generous donation will fund our scholarships and mission.
